About me:

Hi! I’m Sarah, a Toronto-based content strategist, copywriter, and blogger.

I lived in a bunch of places prior to becoming a proud Torontonian: Paris, although we sadly left before I was old enough to eat any croissants; Montreal, where I grew up a Francophone, thus ensuring that most late 80s-early 90s movie references still pass me by; Vancouver, where I was lucky enough to experience one of the city’s greatest achievements – not the 2010 Olympics, but the most consecutive days of rain in a row; and Whistler, where I once came face-to-face with a black bear while sitting on a Starbucks patio (luckily, the bear was more interested in a nearby garbage can than it was in sharing my scone).

I live Toronto with my boyfriend, our cat Shorty, and way too much kitchen stuff to ever move again. I love to cook and bake, and this blog follows my kitchen adventures (or misadventures) as I try out new recipes and techniques. When I’m not cooking, I’m out exploring Toronto, trying out new bars and restaurants, and drinking TONS of coffee.

I also work as a freelance copywriter and copyeditor. Need some writing assistance with your next project? Send me a note — I’d love to work with you!
